摘要

This paper focuses on summarizing and evaluating existing literature regarding e-government in Oman. There are three key questions to this research: (1) What are the main challenges that the Oman e-government project is facing and how can these challenges be resolved? (2) What are the barriers affecting service quality in Oman and how can they be overcome? (3) What are the impediments preventing government entities from integrating across services? In view of the lack of documentation concerning the progress of e-government implementation in Oman, this research will be conducted to identify the factors slowing the development of e-government in Oman. This research will bring to light the factors that have a direct or indirect impact on the e-government implementation project. These factors may be behavioral such as trust, skills, acceptance, knowledge, and reliance. There may also be non-human factors such as infrastructure, integration, geography, and regulations.
