History of Space Exploration

Curiosity—many creatures have this innate feature of their being. And perhaps humans are the ones with the greatest level of curiosity. Since the beginning of time man has looked both into the earth initially by living in and exploring caves and caverns and upward to the heavens. We have also continued to look up to the skies above the trees, above the birds, beyond the clouds and pondered. This chapter presents a brief history of our desire to move beyond the surface of the earth.
