The Paradigm Shift to Early Relational Health: From Disease Prevention to Promotion of Optimal Development
摘要
Early relational health (ERH) is not a new field, rather it builds on knowledge from infant and early childhood mental health (IECMH), neurodevelopment, and related fields. ERH focuses on promoting safe, stable, and nurturing relationships within resilient communities as drivers for current and future health and well-being of children and families. The framework of ERH grounds a paradigm shift in health care to focus on early relationships in partnership with families and communities.
