Right Complication Prevention and Management
摘要
The invasive nature of vascular access puts the patient at risk for complications that can lead to device failure, interruption of therapy, physical harm to the patient that may require medical or surgical intervention, potential long-term or lifelong pain or dysfunction, or even death. These risks place great responsibility upon the vascular access care providers to implement processes, procedures, and products clinically shown to help prevent complications. This section will discuss complication prevention and management.
