Developmental Stages and Clinical Conditions for Vascular Access in Pediatrics
摘要
High-quality, evidence-based vascular access practice is essential in pediatrics to preserve vessel health. Interdisciplinary neonatal and pediatric clinicians must ensure that a focus on vessel health and preservation is evident from the child’s earliest exposure to healthcare. The ability to ensure long-term vessel health and preservation from infancy into adulthood, and the prevention of complications associated with vascular access devices in pediatrics, are key components to ensure successful, efficient, lifelong healthcare.
