Blockchain and Reputation Based Secure Service Provision in Edge-Cloud Environments

A method based on reputation and blockchain has been proposed for secure service provision within an edge-cloud framework in dense small cell networks. A new approach to secure service provision through the distribution of containers’ base image across multiple edge-cloud nodes has been introduced. This proposal signifies an advancement in enhancing security and efficiency in service delivery. The proposed architecture aims to optimize service initiation and collecting times with an emphasis on addressing security concerns. Accordingly, the proposed solution is advantageous regarding secure container-based service provision for the smart mobile devices within a multi-access edge computing network.
