This final chapter suggests some policy implicationsPolicy implications and recommendations that can promote and speed up the deployment of renewable energyRenewable energy sourcesRenewable energy sources in Africa. Moreover, it identifies some research gaps that remain to be addressed by future studies on renewable energy and sustainable development in AfricaSustainable development in Africa and proposes some possible research questions that future researchers could address to advance our knowledge and practice in this field. The chapter aims to contribute to the understanding of the dynamics of renewable energy in AfricaRenewable energy in Africa, as well as to the policy design and implementation for renewable energy development and integration in the continent.
