Researching an Assisted Injection Molding Process Using Artificial Intelligence

An AI-based injection molding assistant is being developed to improve the injection molding process. On the one hand, it is intended to predict the quality of the components and, on the other hand, to suggest machine control parameters in the event of deteriorating quality, which are meant to improve the component quality again. For this purpose, both real and simulated data will be used. The simulation data are to reduce the experimental effort for the acquisition of real data and planed to be used for a pre-training.
