Facial Feminization
摘要
As gender affirmation surgery becomes more prevalent, the importance of facial reconstruction has been highlighted as a key step in the process for many transitioning patients. We are finally entering an era in which transgender care is available and appropriately tailored. In order for surgeons to best care for this patient population, they must have a keen understanding of both the obvious and more subtle differences of the male and female facial construct. With that understanding, they can then address the areas of concern that are unique to each patient. In this chapter, we outline the authors’ approach to facial feminization.
