Management of HIV Stigmata in the Male Patient

HIV-related deformities require a comprehensive evaluation and detailed preoperative informed consent. Many of the typical stigmata related to HIV can be addressed to improve quality of life, enhanced self-esteem, and improved psychological outlook. Plastic surgeons possess several reconstructive and aesthetic procedures in their toolboxes to achieve these goals.
