Rejuvenation of the Face and Neck with Direct Excision Techniques

Rejuvenation of the face and neck can often involve multimodal care including surgical correction. Despite its beneficial outcomes and widespread popularity, the standard rhytidectomy or “facelift” procedure does not appropriately address all features of natural aging. Certain aesthetic concerns may be better corrected with direct excision techniques. This chapter describes the use of direct excision procedures for rejuvenation of the aging face and neck in male patients.
