A Decision-Making Model for Selecting Solutions and Improvement Actions Using Fuzzy Logic
摘要
The ability to solve problems and implement effective and relevant improvement actions is one of the most important factors in a company’s success. Companies often find it difficult to determine which actions are worth implementing and prioritizing, and whether they are worth the effort and cost. The objective of this article is to develop a fuzzy logic model that facilitates the decision and selection of relevant actions and solutions by estimating the value of action relevance based on four input indicators: “Efficiency”, “Feasibility”, “Cost” and “Implementation time”. This model enables companies and managers to follow up the solutions proposed during brainstorming sessions and analyze each one with precision, thanks to the detailed values of the input parameters that enable decisions to be made on the relevance of the actions and the extent to which they need to be implemented in order to be able to solve the problems with maximum efficiency and with the least resources.
