Optimized Schwarz and Finite Volume Cell-Centered Method for Heterogeneous Problems

This paper focuses on the optimized Schwarz Waveform Relaxation (OSWR) method for a model problem with discontinuous coefficients. The numerical scheme relies on the finite volume cell-centered (FVCC) method. The domain is divided into two nonoverlapping subdomains, and optimized Robin-type transmission conditions are applied at the interface between these subdomains. Numerical experiments with both equal and different Robin parameters are presented to compare the performance of the methods.
