Representation of a GED Functionality in the Transformation of the BPMN Model to the UML Model Using the MDA Approach

One of the main advantages of EDM lies in its many functionalities which contribute to the smooth running of electronic document management. Digitization, which consists of dematerializing physical media via the scanner, is one of the main functionalities of EDM. It is necessary to ensure that the digitization provides exploitable image files which would make it possible to recognize their content and facilitate their indexing. In this article, we propose a new transformation from the BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) representation to the UML (Unified Modeling Language) representation through the QVT (Query View Transformation) language. This gives users the best of both worlds and keeps things simple. Readability of BPMN, and precision of UML. Moreover, applying the solution on top of the MDA (Model Driven Architecture) framework can be saves time and money, and also improves the quality of the Program.
