  • Fatima-Zohra Hibbi

摘要

The use of intelligent tutoring systems or assistants (ITS) as support tools in the context of programming learning has many advantages since they are oriented towards the development of more effective personalised teaching and learning processes. From the point of view of the role of teachers, the development of this type of device offers them a great opportunity, among which is the reduction of time spent designing content and promoting appropriate knowledge. On the other hand, from the student's point of view, learning takes place autonomously, as these systems are designed to complement, not replace, the role of the teacher. In short, ITS is distinguished from other education systems by their ability to monitor the cognitive states of individual learners and respond appropriately. This system has received a great deal of attention from disciplines such as cognitive science, education and computer science. The ultimate goal is to emulate expert human tutors in the way they teach and interact with learners. In what follows, the authors present a state of the art of intelligent tutoring system.
