Case Study of Organisation Working in the Field: Aviv Ministry, Tel Aviv, Israel

Aviv Ministry is a Christian humanitarian organisation that has been operating an outreach centre and soup kitchen called “Aviv Center” in south Tel Aviv, Israel, for more than a decade. It has more than 50 volunteers, half of whom are former addicts. The centre is open 7 days a week. Volunteers help street drug addicts, alcoholics, and prostitutes by providing hot food and clothing and inviting them to undertake a rehabilitation programme and return to normal life.
