Haven of Light

Haven of Light in a charitable organisation based in North Wales, UK, with an active presence in the area as well as in partnership with non-profit organisations throughout Europe as a member of the European Freedom Network. Our work began in 2013 with a local focus on awareness, education, prevention, advocacy, community engagement and collaboration. At this time, the phrases ‘modern slavery and human trafficking’ were not part of the conversation around crime and social concerns, but over the past 10 years we have highlighted the issues widely and spent time with local young people as well as individuals who have found themselves caught in exploitation. We have worked hard to raise issues of concern and partner with local agencies to deliver outreach and awareness events, information sharing, consultancy, advice and training.
