摘要

This chapter discusses how civil society might respond to MSHT. It uses as an example the Romanian organisation eLiberare, recognising that Romania is a major source of men, women and children being exploited as human trafficking victims in Europe. The chapter describes healthcare professionals as front liners in the battle against MSHT and how civil society could work with healthcare providers to prevent, identify, rescue and assist victims of trafficking.
