A Healthcare Provider Response to MSHT

I ’serve not only as the Chief Executive Officer and founder of One By One but as a former paediatric nurse, and having served in the field working with vulnerable populations, I am keenly away of the intersection of human trafficking and the healthcare sector. One By One has developed and deployed a comprehensive training for healthcare workers in Kenya and Uganda, educating them on understanding human trafficking, how to identify it in the healthcare setting, and proper intervention techniques. One By One’s training has been noted by the World Health Organization as well as several NGOs working in the field. To date, One By One has been able to show measurable impact and increased actionable knowledge based on these efforts.
