A Healthcare Response to MSHT

Human trafficking as a healthcare issue has been recognized since the early 2000s [1–3]. Unfortunately, the healthcare sector has largely overlooked its role in addressing human trafficking and exploitation today. This is changing in a few western countries, but it is still unrecognized. Many health professionals have heard about this issue but remain unaware of how they can leverage their unique skills against it. We can make this issue relevant to our peers, but they need an invitation.
