Epilogue and Outlook

This chapter summarizes the length and breadth of this book. Each chapter was written by experts in their own fields. MR-Linac technology is very promising, but it is still nascent, with high but as yet unconfirmed expectations. We have attempted to summarize both the clinical achievements and research components that may lead to this technology becoming a standard modality in radiation oncology. As the saying goes, “seeing is believing.”
