The Australian MRI-Linac: A 10-Year Journey
摘要
In 2012 there were four competing MRI-linear accelerator designs being implemented around the world. Two of these systems, with the radiation beam at right angles to the magnetic field, would become commercial products. The remaining two research systems had a slightly different approach with the orientation for the magnetic field being parallel or “in line” with the direction the beam. This chapter focuses on the author’s own experience on working with the Australian MRI-Linac over the course of 10 years from its inception through to its operation.
