City Scale Drainage System IoT Testbeds
摘要
Wireless networks are being transformed drastically. Diversity, quick transfer of information, and large volumes are the defining characteristics of next generation wireless networks. The conventional policies of accessing licensed-based spectrum are now being replaced by utilizing unlicensed spectrum space. Dynamic Spectrum Access (DSA) is an enabling technology which ensures that the unlicensed spectrum use must not devoid licensed users from their fair share of spectrum. However, DSA possess challenges on business end as, with dynamically changing resources, revenue must not drop. Therefore, there is a need to test these networks before deployment so that real-life scenarios can be emulated to address the challenges, i.e., privacy and pricing, of DSA. In this chapter a testbed is designed to measure the complexity of radio networks in diverse environments.
