The Influence of the Modulus of Elasticity in the Numerical Modal Analysis of Truss Elements Which Are Defined as Beam, Truss or Solids
摘要
In the numerical modal analysis, the elements of a truss can be defined as beam, truss or solids. The natural frequencies, as well as the modal shapes obtained from these analyzes differ for each case considered separately. The paper presents the natural frequency changes obtained through numerical modal analysis using SolidWorks software for cases where the structural elements are assimilated as beams, trusses, and solids. For each individual case, the changes in natural frequencies are analyzed for the case where an element of the structure becomes much more elastic. In other words, for this element, the value of the modulus of elasticity was intentionally reduced. The study demonstrates how changes in the modulus of elasticity can significantly impact the dynamic response of these structures. The findings of this study can be used to better understand the behavior of these structures under varying conditions and to optimize their design for better performance.
