Numerical and Experimental Results Obtained from the Study of the Mechanical Coupling Systems of Power Sources

摘要

In the beginning of the paper is presented an experimental stand used in the study of the operation of a mechanical system that connects a heat engine, an electric motor and a generator. This stand simulates the operation of a hybrid car. The mechanical system for coupling the power sources has in its composition a planetary mechanism with double satellite. The mathematical model of the stand consists in a system of 2 differential equations of the second degree, in which the unknowns are the angular displacements and the angular velocities of the electric motor and of the thermal motor. This reduces the entire system to the two inputs of the planetary mechanism. The measuring chain used in the experimental determinations consists of a torque and speed transducer, a measuring amplifier, an integrated data acquisition system and an analysis software. The stand is loaded with a brake. At the end of the paper, following the analysis of the experimental results, the conclusions are presented.
