Case Study on the Dynamic Response Evaluation for a Full-Scale Building with Additional Viscous Damping
摘要
The paper deals with a specific topic regarding the effect of additional viscous damping with linear fluid dampers incorporated in the structure of an existing S + P + 8 floor building, for a county hospital. In this case, the maximum floor displacement values are presented, decreased compared to the situation where the same building with the initial structural composition is unequipped with viscous dampers.
