Designing an Inertial System for Transforming Rotational Motion into Unidirectional Linear Motion
摘要
The present work presents a device with applicability in the field of motor vehicle construction. It is an inertial system that is able to create an inertial force used for the translational movement of the vehicle on which it is mounted without the need to create a kinematic chain from this device to the wheels of the vehicle. The following are addressed in the work: preliminary kinematic scheme, 3D device design in the Solid Works program, mathematical calculations and graphic representations for: displacement, velocity, impulse and inertial force. Finally, the practical realization of the device.
