Radiotherapy has an established role in the management of inoperable localised oesophageal cancer. This chapter deals with the normal radiological anatomy of the oesophagus and imaging features and patterns of oesophageal cancer spread. It also summarises the anatomical changes due to the tumour and its spread, post-operative anatomy and guides target volume delineation.
