Non-surgical Nose Modification Using Threads

Surgical rhinoplasty is one of the most common cosmetic surgeries worldwide and can help increase quality of life and self-esteem. With the increased interest and request for non-surgical and minimally invasive procedures, options for treatment of the nose have been limited. With the advancement of knowledge and technology, dermal fillers and threads can be used to reshape the nose, elevate the tip of the nose, reduce appearance of the prominence of the bump on the nose bridge, eliminate some deformities and irregularities, and smooth the contour of the nose profile. Dermal fillers carry the risk of vascular compromise in this high-risk zone, embolism, and blindness. In this chapter, modification of the nose using P (LA / CL) is explained.
