Thread Lifting: Criteria for Optimal Candidate Selection
摘要
Multiple factors govern a successful and optimal outcome for thread-lifting procedures. These include patient-related factors, product-related factors, and operator factors, including the clinical environment and techniques used. Correct patient selection is a critical factor in determining an optimal outcome when using threads for facial rejuvenation and recontouring. Regarding patient selection, many factors such as general health, mental health, social history, and expectations are overlooked by the practitioners. Only when these are assessed and established, the practitioner can look at the indications for the actual procedure and examine if the patient is suitable for the thread-lifting procedure.
