Smart Agriculture Using Internet of Things
摘要
Agriculture is the backbone of the Indian economy. Internet of things (IoT) interconnects physical and virtual objects through Internet. The exchange of data with greater level of accuracy and service is achieved by IoT. It creates various opportunities to use sensor data in real-time agricultural practices. Our farmers have used the most modern and innovative agricultural technology to achieve good yield in agriculture. To enhance their crop yields, it is now essential for them to adopt more technologically advanced agricultural techniques. IoT-based smart systems can be used to monitor parameters such as soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and rain that may improve the quality of agricultural practices. By collecting the data from various sensors, and initiating the actuators, with microcontrollers, the farmers are able to keep track of the productivity in the agricultural fields. The proposed system makes use of many sensors and networking technologies by which agricultural practices can be monitored from anywhere around the world.
