Digital Innovations and Transformation in the Public Sector of Panama
摘要
Digital innovations and transformation have changed the way in which the public sector works, whilst massive digital disruption took place during the pandemics. The research gap that this article looks at is the lack of academic research on this phenomenon in Panama. The paper presented here is as a qualitative case study of 9 public organizations in Panama and aims to the explore the issue from the theoretical framework of the theory of affordances using semi structured interviews and focus group as well as to serve as a steppingstone for further research of the subject in Panama and in the rest of the Latin American region.
