Connectivity Technologies for Opportunistic Networks

This chapter explores the question of how to implement opportunistic networks in practice. The main part of this question considers the connectivity technologies that support opportunistic communications. These can be organized into two types: general communication technologies and protocols and concrete software implementations and frameworks. This chapter is intended as hands-on help for developing real applications based on opportunistic networking.
