Considerations, Challenges and Evolution in Dynamic Modeling of Synchronous Machines and Inverter-Based Resources
摘要
While many power system engineers are familiar and comfortable with the concept of “modeling,” being the act of carrying out some form of simulation to analyze the performance and behavior of electrical elements under both normal and adverse operating conditions, the terminology is often not well understood outside of the profession. The following overview is intended to introduce the basic concepts to those new to, or unfamiliar with, power system modeling.
