Simulation studies and methods of modeling and analysis in conventional and evolving power systems have been covered in the previous chapters. With power systems across the globe undergoing unprecedented transformation and evolving to be more complex and uncertain, a number of new challenges are emerging in power system dynamic modeling and simulation (Global Power System Transformation Consortium (G-PST) 2024), requiring the development of necessary controls and stabilizing solutions.
