Power system models are the foundation of power system analysis and design. The robustness and accuracy of models used in power system analysis is paramount in determining power system performance under a range of operating conditions. They allow insights to be gathered ahead of physical modifications being made to critical electrical infrastructure, where the consequences of modeling errors could be extreme.
