Deployment of Deep Learning in BlockChain Technology for Credit Card Fraud Prevention

摘要

In the last decade, the increase in the use of online services leads to a high rate of credit card fraudulent activities causing tragic loss to both financial institutions and their clients. Attempting to surpass this issue, experts and scientists have developed fraud detection systems based on machine learning and deep learning. Afterwards, to boost these systems performance, Blockchain—a secure, decentralized, and immutable database—was adopted to prevent all types of fraud and data corruption after storage. In this study, we combined a deep learning model—designed to detect fraudulent transactions—and Blockchain. In other words, we used a deep learning model in a Blockchain architecture to ban credit card fraud. In this regard, the main barrier encountered was the inability of the Blockchain or the smart contract in particular to use off-chain data (Deep learning model). Thus, Chainlink has taken place in the proposed system to overcome this problem.
