摘要

A single-feed microstrip antenna is presented by an effective model design for obtaining circular polarization (CP) radiation. The antenna substrate has an air layer with thickness about 4.5% of the wavelength by using a short probe pin the antenna can be excited simply for the purpose have a resonance frequency at 28 GHz. By choosing the optimum size for truncating, the circular polarized operation is obtained using the two truncated opposite corners technique. An impedance matching with a wide bandwidth is produced using a flat ground plane with the probe pin positioned optimally. The structure has been designed by four pillars to have separation between the patch and the ground plane. The material and dimensions of the latter has been studied to improve the antenna performance. The CP patch antenna allows an AR bandwidth Up to 1.6 GHz and Gain value of 9.8 dB. The performance of the proposed antenna is tested numerically by electromagnetic Simulation using CST-MW.
