Temperature Forecast Using Machine Learning

Weather has an immense impact on agriculture. On this basis, the need for a smart model that accurately predicts and forecasts weather based on available meteorological data becomes a necessity. The region of Beni Mellal in particular relies heavily on the agricultural sector, making it the primary if not the only considerable source of income for the region. This stresses the importance and the benefits of advanced and early weather prediction. In this paper, we are interested in forecasting weather in the region of Beni Mellal-Khenifra, working with machine learning algorithms, which are Linear Regression, Gradient-Boosted Trees, and Random forests to forecast the average temperature in the city of Beni Mellal using Apache Spark.
