Imaging of the Knee
摘要
Commonly used imaging modalities for the knee include radiography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging. Each modality has strength and weakness in the evaluation of cortical bone, bone marrow, ligaments, menisci, articular cartilage, and synovium. The reader will learn what sequences provide optimal imaging in particular patient scenarios as well as how to read basic information from each sequence, allowing to differentiate between structures, and determine their condition as well as of the surrounding tissues based on the signal strength and structure’s color.
