A Description of Other Geometric Tolerance Statements
摘要
Many of the fit-related tolerance specifications were explained in the previous chapters where they were first used. This chapter presents some of the other common tolerance statements used primarily to achieve precision functions other than fit. Tolerance statements fall into four categories: tolerances of size, form, orientation, and location. While the presentation in this chapter is not a complete coverage of everything in the GDT Standard, it is sufficient to cover the majority of applications. The coverage includes straightness of axes, circularity, cylindricity, parallelism, perpendicularity, angularity, position, composite position tolerances, circular runout, total runout, and composite profile tolerances.
