The Ygollotes’ Pudong and the Insurrection of the Reeds In the Post-Human Commune
摘要
Is there a connection between the planting of Magellan’s cross and Philippine Christianity’s silence about the destruction of our mountains and rainforests? Or have we reached the point where we must uproot the cross and plant the Pudong of the Igorots instead? This chapter dwells on the significance of the Pudong rite to the formation of an ecumenical/inter-faith spirituality of resistance vis a vis the continuing reality of development aggression in the Philippines particularly the Gran Cordillera Central.
