First properties of supermanifolds, their functor of points and the DeWitt topology

In this article we show how the classification of supermanifolds to first order can be recovered through their functor of points. Subsequently, we consider the notion of L-points of a supermanifold. In analogy with the complex topology on schemes, we describe a topology on the locus of L-points of a superscheme in line with the DeWitt approach to supermanifold theory.
