Anchoring Digital Transformation: The Triad of Culture, Ethics, and Security

This chapter highlights the three substantial pillars – Culture, Ethics, and Security – underpinning successful digital transformation (DT) endeavors within nonprofit organizations (NPOs). Earlier chapters have emphasized these three pillars’ essential role in the DT journey of NPOs. As these organizations embark on their digital transformations, it is vital that they recognize and integrate these three elements. Depending on their management and incorporation into the DT strategy, they can function as either catalysts propelling progress forward or as obstacles that may hamper the transformation journey. Effective utilization of these pillars can significantly influence the overall trajectory of an NPO’s DT journey.
