Nanosensors for Agriculture, Water, Environment, and Health
摘要
Nanosensors are among the most promising technologies discovered recently as they have a wide spectrum of applications such as agriculture, water, environment, and health. In the agricultural field, this chapter discusses how nanosensors could improve crop quality and protect them against pathogens and toxins that may contaminate food. Fertilizers, pesticides, taste, and odor can all be detected using nanosensors. Also, nanosensors’ roles in fresh and packed food, water quality monitoring, environmental pollutants, and soil toxicity will be discussed. Finally, the application of nanobiosensors for medical aspects in certain diseases, such as asthma and cardiovascular diseases, and their role in glucose level monitoring will also be highlighted.
