Data Gathering of University Curricula
摘要
The overall research question of this book aims to model programming competencies expected from novice learners in computer science study programs. The main research question is specified by five subordinate questions related to competency modeling and to what extent the Anderson Krathwohl Taxonomy can be utilized to classify cognitive competencies. One of the methods to answer these questions is to gather and analyze curricula data from higher education. In this chapter, the process of sampling and gathering university curricula is presented. Accordingly, all steps of this qualitative process are summarized, including the sampling method, selection of study programs, content areas, institutions, and modules.
