Anamnesis, Examination and Further Diagnostics

After discussing the anatomy, physiology, metabolism, and embryology of the cornea, it is now easier to distinguish between the normal and pathological state of congenital corneal opacities. In the following chapter, the anamnesis and the examination will be discussed in further detail. Both are essential to making the correct diagnosis and initiating the best therapy for the child.
