Modulation of Turbulence Flux Budgets by Varying Fluid Properties in Heated High Prandtl Number Flow

High Prandtl number liquids are most commonly used for lubrication and cooling of various technical devices. The large disparity of the smallest turbulent thermal and dynamic scales strongly challenges the numerical modelling of the transport of heat and momentum.
