摘要

Conventional intracranial pressure monitoring consists of an invasive neurosurgical intervention in which a hole is made in the cranium, at the frontal level, through which a sensor is inserted and lodged in the epidural, intracerebral or intraventricular space. The sensor is connected to a system that continuously measures intracranial pressure and is maintained for the necessary time, depending on the pathology. For this reason, this paper proposes the development of a vision algorithm to compute pupil parameters in order to collect data from the pupil that could be considered to estimate an approximate value of intracranial pressure, which can be used by neurosurgeons to assess the possible disease of a patient without the need to perform an invasive neurosurgical procedure.
