This Chapter describes the end of the second week of an MBA student’s project to find out, for a newly appointed CEO of a manufacturing company, what happens with the company’s products from the beginning of their life to the end of their life. The Chapter includes interviews carried out at the company’s main site in South Germany. Those interviewed include representatives of the Software Architecture, Programming, Human Resources, Legal, Intellectual Property, Patent, Purchasing, Research and Mechanical Engineering Groups. The interviewees explain their product-related activities and the objects such as parts, data and documents that they use in the activities. In addition, they outline the IS systems they use. They also describe any product-related issues they face in the activity, as well as suggesting improvements.
